Fake passports seized, 3 people arrested

Hyderabad News: The number of fake passport racket is increasing in Hyderabad day by day and becoming a hub for all sorts of illegal actions. A fresh fake passport racket was busted by the Task Force Police yesterday after it was realized that 3 people couldn’t obtain passport from US consulate in Hyderabad.

Shockingly none of them belonged to Hyderabad. 5 people were involved of which only 3 were arrested by the cops till now. 2 are at loose and will soon be taken into custody, ascertained the Hyderabad police. 4 were from Maharashtra and 1 woman was from Gujarat. The arrested 3 people are Rajesh Sheshgiri Kamath from Thane, Yadneshwar Vasant Thakur from Mumbai and Vaishali Kanubhai Patel alias Smita Yadneshwar Thakur Asarva from Ahmedabad. Chase for Vijay Bhatt and Zakir Yusuf Shaik of Mumbai is still on.

Vijay Bhatt was the so-called “head” of the gang who collected all the fake documents for the passport. He also gathered many female applicants who wished to go abroad using fake passports. Just as shown in films, he got hold of men who had Indian passports and wished to fake marry females for the sake of visa. Vijay Bhatt used to organize these events with the help of Zakir Yusuf Shaik.

As what seems like the climax of the drama, Vaishali approached Vijay Bhatt to help her get a visa for US. Rajesh forced Yadneshwar to go as Vaishali’s fake husband to the US consulate. But her Visa was rejected by the officials. Later in Aanchal Hotel, they were arrested.
