Hyderabad News: The Deputy Superintendent of Chalchalguda jail Mr. K Venkateshwara Reddy got transferred on Friday from this jail and posted as vice-principal of State Institute of Correctional Administration. The SICA is located at the headquarters of the Prisons Department.

 

Mr. Reddy was in charge as Superintendent of Chanchalguda after its Superintendent Mr. K Keshava Naidu went on leave for 3 months. The transfer was mentioned as a usual and routine administrative process. But it seems there is more behind this transfer, as the presence of VIP politicians like Jagan Mohan Reddy in Chanchalguda jail.   

 

Reversely the present SICA vice-president M Farooq Ali has been appointed as SP of Chanchalguda jail. It will also have Muralidhar Babu as another SP. So setting the trend, from now there will be 2 Deputy Superintendent in charge of jail.

 

Earlier, Director General of Police was transferred from this jail following the death of a prisoner who was killed by another inmate prisoner. There also rumours that Jaganmohan Reddy has turned the jail into party office headquarters with the kind of activities going on in jail right now. We wonder what more drama gets unfolded in future.
