OU faces a new problem regarding exams

Hyderabad News: The Osmania University seems to never be at peace post the Telangana agitation which started 2 years ago. The postponement of exams has become the part of the education curriculum for the management of OU. Freshly the exams scheduled on 16 August 2012 are postponed.

The reason for the postponement is the strike of the teachers of OU to give the salaries which were not given from months. The teachers association started an indefinite strike until their salaries will be given. They are also protesting for the temporary posts of many senior lecturers to be made permanent. They will be starting a dharna before the administrative office from today morning. Since this is an indefinite dharna, no one is sure whether there will be any classes conducted in OU campus.
