Aurora College Principal’s body recovered from Lake

Hyderabad News: The dead body of Aurora Degree College, Chikadpally, was discovered on the surface of waters of Hussain Sagar on Sunday. His wife filed a missing complaint on Friday evening after he didn’t return home. Nevertheless he was found dead after his body was discovered near Sailing Club on Sunday.


Dr. Paturi Ravi served as principal of Aurora’s Degree and PG College in Chikadpally since 1999. Lately he was under stress due to marital problems. He hired an auto which the family usually hires, asked him to drive till necklace road. He handed over all his belongings like wallet, phone and watch and asked the driver to hand over to his wife Megha Malini. After the auto driver handed over the belongings to principal’s wife, she suspected something about it and immediately rushed to necklace road to find him.


His body is shifted to Gandhi hospital for post mortem. After questioning his family members, police found out that he was going through marital problems and suspicions are on his wife. Yet they didn’t want to conclude on anything before the post mortem reports come out. Also there wasn’t any suicide note so the police are just waiting for post mortem report. But a case under CPC section 174 of suspicious death is registered.
