Government Land sold by fake land dealers

Hyderabad News: There seems to be no end to the increasing fraud cases in Hyderabad. Yet again, poor people from villages were conned by 5 fake land dealers. This time the government land was sold to them by producing fake documents.

Close to 50 Lakh INR was looted from these people who were willingly paying the amount for land. When one of them started doubting the authenticity of the purchase, he dug a little deeper into the matter. Jahangeer Pasha who lives in Singareni Colony then lodged a complaint at Ibrahimpatnam Police Station. He realized that 100 square yards land sold to him was government land, allotted to APIIC for construction of Hardware Park.

The police started their search after booking the complaint and took 5 people into custody. Amruthamma, P Krishna, Shanker Naik of Singareni Colony, M Kumara Rajagopal of Kadapa and A Balaji of Shah Ali Banda were involved in this con. Only Amruthamma, Krishna and Rajagopal were arrested yesterday by the police. There will be a hearing against them in the court.
