Old City stinking without garbage bins

Hyderabad News: Old city is stinking with many garbage bins missing from their places. This created a lot of unbearable stink even during the month of Ramzan. There were very less bins and the existing bins went missing after few days the Municipality authorities put them in different places. Immediate action should be taken to remove the heavy inflow of garbage and also find out what is happening to those existing bins.

The Conference of Parties 11 is in October and Hyderabad is hosting it. With such a big event ahead, the government cannot afford to leave the streets like this. In this regard, many inmates of old city areas were interviewed. They stated that many complaints were lodged against this increasing odour of garbage but in vain. The GHMC officials promised to come every 2 days but no one turned up.

Being festive season, the streets were filled with double the garbage but GHMC is taking no measures. According to the survey made by officials, the areas like Bada Bazar, Murtaza Playground, Unique School and Rein Bazaar Chaman are the one suffering with maximum stink.

More festivals like Ganesh Chaturti are coming up which will worsen the condition of garbage in those areas. The locals are requesting the government to take immediate action regarding this situation.
