   Y Srilakshmi's bail plea rejected
Hyderabad - The Andhra Pradesh High court on wednesday rejected the bail plea by Y Srilakshmi, She accused in the OMC (Obulapuram Mining Company) illegal mining case.

The High Cancelled the bail granted by the CBI court in January 2012, she was arrested on November 28,2012 for favouring the illegal mining company, owned by the former Karnataka Ministe Gali Janardhan Reddy main accused .

Justice Samudrala Govindarajulu observed that granting her bail at this juncture was improper since investigation was still pending regarding tracing. The judge agreed with the CBI's contention that if bail was granted at this stage, there was the possibility of interference in the investigation.

Opposing the bail plea of YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the CBI on Wednesday told the AP High Court that the state lost Rs 43,000 crore due to illegal favours extended by the YSR regime to Jagan’s investors.
