Telugu Desam Party stir for flyover
Vijayawada - TDP(Telugu Desam Party) President N. Chandrababu Naidu and party workers staged a dharna on Monday here demanding a flyover
The Telugu Desam party demanded to construct a flyover on Vijayawada to Hyderabad NH-7 near Kanakdurga Temple, Chandrababu Naidu alleged Congress government is not taking any interests in public issues
He said, When TDP was rule in Andhra Pradesh and NDA in central the flyover Project was issued, which was later in pending project in congress government, During TDP government the flyover costs 100 crore and the central sanctioned 35 crores for it
Congress did not realize the importance of infrastructure in the country and most of the important infrastructure projects proposed during the TDP rule were neglected," he said.
The TDP president promised to construct the flyover once the party forms the government in the state
Congress MP L Rajagopal, party workers staged a sit-in, saying that the flyover was technically not feasible.Rajagopal said that his party was not protesting, but was just "creating awareness" among people on the issue.
