Sports News: Uppal Stadium is all set to bear the heat of Test match series that will go on today between India and New Zealand. But sources say that only 1 player, Sachin Tendulkar among the ‘Fabulous Four’. The other players are VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid and Saurav Ganguly who retired from international cricket.

 

Of course there is an efficient set of players with Indian team now; but there is a lot of pressure on them about winning this series. Also the team has to manage the upcoming matches like ICC World Cup T20, 10 Test matches, 13 ODIs and 3 T20 international matches in the coming months.

 

The junior members of Indian team are Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Cheteshwar Pujara and S Badrinath. These players are the replacements for the missing 3 from “Fabulous four”. They are now taking guidance and coaching form Sachin as the main test for them will be in 2013 against South Africa.

 

Also the previous Series matches played by team India were disasters. After 7 months they will be playing test series today. There is tension and excitement in the air. Also it was seen that Australia had to struggle a lot after their ace players quit from international cricket. All we can do is wait and see for the result of the match.
