Raliway department to monitor the safety of Trains

Andhra Pradesh News: After the ghastly Tamil Nadu Express accident, the Railway authorities of Vijayawada decided to make surprise inspections to trains in the night. All to check whether there are any dangerous chemicals at loose or whether there is any chance of short circuit in the train. All the reserved, unreserved and general coaches will not be spared. Each and every bogie will be checked under this initiative.

A regular review of these activities will be done once in every week. The Divisional Railway Manager Pradeep Kumar addressed the media and stated that senior level officers will take part in this inspection process from now on.

Night patrolling is the need of the hour; after all we have seen that most of the train accidents occur late in the night. So there will be two teams in this process. Night patrolling will be strengthened on all the tracks and special divisional level officers will again come to check whether the work by juniors is done correctly or not.
