Panjagutta road will be open from today

Hyderabad News: The road in Panjagutta which was closed 4 days ago might be opened from today for the heavy vehicles as well. It was earlier opened for 2 wheelers and small vehicles on Monday 13 August. Today it may open for all the vehicles. Earlier the stretch of road from Khairatabad junction to Panjagutta was closed after the road got caved.

GHMC officials started the repair work immediately and it took almost 4 days to close it. Additional commissioner of Traffic wing confirmed that the heavy vehicles will be allowed from today. We all hope that there will be no traffic mishap since the heavy vehicles will pass on the road.

GHMC officials made a shocking discovery regarding the reason for the collapse of the road. It was found that nearly a ton of rubber tyre material and equally weighing plastic material was stuck in the pipe. This triggered the blockage of drain water and completely hit the road. Officials have now connected the sewer lines with storm water drainage so that the water won’t get stuck in future like it happened earlier.
