Power failure causing trouble in the Ramzan month

The government seems to have forgotten about their promises to Muslims this year. Series of power cuts without any intimation is causing a lot of trouble in the month of Ramzan for people of old city. Some areas which are facing the problem due to power cuts are Moinbagh, Dabeerpura, Hussainialam, Moghulpura, Charminar, Falaknuma, Chandrayangutta Salala and Khilwat.

These power cuts added to rainfall are creating a lot of problem for Muslims as many complained that they cannot hear Iftar bell. These cuts are especially occurring between evening 6pm to 12am. Also many complaints were lodged against dark streets and non-functioning of street lights in the old city. They are still left unnoticed.

Officials are foolishly stating this might be due to local transformer problems and that they are not aware of any untimely power cuts. GHMC officials said that they will arrange for extra transformers especially for Ramzan month. People following Roza should get up early in the morning for the Sehri and cook foodies. But this power loss seems to spoil the whole festive mood.

Some of the authorities stated that they cannot follow the instructions of Chief Minister as they are very much in short of power supplies. Power stations are eagerly waiting for more and more rains. Where on the other side, AP already is recording the highest rainfall in the country. To top all this, the toll free number of CPDCL doesn’t get connected most of the times.
