APSRTC trains its drivers for road safety

The programs conducted during the Accident Free Week (AFW) in Hyderabad mainly focused on the road safety awareness among APSTRC drivers. Hence almost 1200 drivers of APSRTC from all over the state were counselled about the safety tips on driving.

The Managing Director AK Khan addressed the gathering of drivers. He told that 18 APSRTC drivers were held driving after drinking. Stringent action will be taken against these drivers. He wants every other to take this as a lesson and be careful hereafter. It is good to hear that AP government is taking such initiatives to improve the situation of the state.

Especially the safety on roads has become the main point of concern for Hyderabadis these days. The increasing road accidents led to this program and made it success by the APSRTC sector of government. In a effort to encourage the drivers to drive safely on roads, 7 RTC drivers who had an accident-free driving record in their career so far were congratulated and rewarded with cash prize of 4500 INR.
