Hyderabad News: Gali Somasekhar confessed to Anti Corruption Bureau that bribe to Gali Janarshan Reddy was arranged by MLA T.H. Suresh Babu and Janardhan Reddy’s PA Prakash. He said that he didn’t arrange for bail money of other accused in the cash-for-bail case. He was questioned for 3 days before he was arrested on Monday 6 August 2012.

 

Somasekhar Reddy was produced in the City Civil Court in Hyderabad yesterday for further questioning. Somasekhar explained the circumstances under which they got hold of information and contacted the judge. The amount of 20 crore was demanded by the judge’s representative and it was given to him by the Gali brothers. His confessions of how he delivered the money were noted by ACB officials.

 

Somasekhar was taken into judicial custody till August 17 here in Hyderabad. He was then shifted to Cherlapally prison. Suspended judge T Pattabhirama Rao, T Ravi Chandra, TV Chalapathi Rao, MLA T.H. Suresh Babu, Dasaratha Rami Reddy, Advocate Aditya and History sheeter P Yadagiri Rao were all arrested and taken into custody after the confessions of Gali Somasekhar Reddy.
