Sheryl Sandberg on Facebook Board of directors
Facabook on Monday announced the appointment of sheryl Sandberg name as Chief Operating Officer of its board meeting, Sheryl Sandberg is the first woman on the Facebook company board of directors
42-year-old Sandberg joined the social network in 2008 and oversees Facebook's business operations including sales, marketing, business development, legal, human resources, public policy and communications.
"Sheryl has been my partner in running Facebook and has been central to our growth and success over the years," Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement.
Facebook also changed the default email used to contact its users through the site.
The email change to @facebook.com addresses that the social networking site provided to all its 900 million users could prompt a new backlash against the company since it failed to warn users in advance about the change.
