Araku Valley:
As the name suggests, the place Araku is a valley or a hill station in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. It is nearly 116 km away from Visakhapatnam city and very near to Orissa border. Araku Valley is the most favourite destination for outsiders and inmates of the state. The picturesque scenery of the village and its surroundings are add-ons to the beauty of the valley.
The forests of the valley are rich in coffee plantations and Araku is accessible through rail as well as road ways of transportation. The forests and the ghat sections offer us with adventure sports like hill trekking. Another tourist attraction near the valley is the Borra Caves. While traveling through train, one can have the best experience of the nature and pleasing scenery. There is also a Tribal Museum in Araku Valley which displays many arty handicrafts carved by the native tribes.
