Annavaram Temple:

Annavaram is a small village on the banks of Pamba River in East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. The place is also known for the famous temples Lord Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy (Lord Vishnu’s temple) and goddess Anantha Lakshmi both located on Ratnagiri Hills. Annavaram temple mainly is the temple of Lord Vishnu though other deities are also present here.

The temple witnesses a huge crowd of pilgrims and devotees everyday due to the historic significance of it. The worship of the lord is done with utmost devotion considering the temple to be the second Tirulama Temple. The temple can be reached through road and rail ways by buses from the following places: Kakinada – Tuni, Rajamundry – Tuni, Yeleswaram – Tuni and also through trains like Vijayawada – Vizag Ratnachal Superfast Express, The Chennai – Howrah Mail and Kolkata – Chennai Halt.

Other places of interest for tourists nearer to Annavaram temple are Samalkot, Thalupulamma Thalli and Draksharama. These places can also be visited by local and inter-district buses managed by APSTRC wing of State Government.
