Jammu and Kashmir assembly once again disturbed by the independent resolution from Engineer Rashid Seeking for clemency for Afzal Guru.

Second day of the session witnessed utter chaos in the assembly by all the MLA’s. Ruling party and main opposition party (PDP) were supporting the resolution passed by the MLA Engineer Rashid. But the BJP is not supporting the cause and demanding the government to execute the Supreme Court order.

Afzul Guru has been given death sentence by the apex court for his participation in the attack on the Indian Parliament in 2001.

Earlier Tamilnadu government passed a unanimous resolution to commute the death sentence given to the assassinators of Rajiv Gandhi.
