Railways will launch two dozen new trains across the country on Friday in keeping with an announcement made in the Rail Budget for 2011-2012.
Minister Dinesh Trivedi is expected to announce the commencement of 24 new trains. The new trains list includes increase in frequency of four trains and further extension of the journey of six trains.
After the announcement by the Railway Minister, these trains will be flagged off by the local MPs and MLAs from their respective stations.
