WARANGAL

It  houses the marvellous thousand pillared temple built by Rudra Deva in 1163 A.D. This star shaped shrine is dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu and Surya and has beautifully carved pillars, perforated screens and images. The rock-hewn elephants and the Nandi are worth seeing.Warangal also has an ancient fort.
