Vidya has been nicknamed as ‘Bombat’ Balan
Vidya portraying the role of sex siren, Silk Smitha in her upcoming flick, ‘The Dirty Picture’, Vidya Balan has been nicknamed by her fans as ‘Bombat’ Balan. During the actor’s film promotional event, she was being asked about how she feels about her fans addressing her by the weird name, to which the Bengali beauty reverted that earlier she found it quiet funny, but now she finds it interesting and has no issues with it.
Vidya has been the talk of the town, since the day she signed role of Silk Smitha. Vidya went bolder for this role. She put on 12 kgs of wieght to resemble herself to the veteran actor, Silk Smitha. She describes that the role played by ‘Silk’ has been an extremely demanding, exhausting, tiring and yet very fulfilling and exhilarating one that she has ever played in her career.
Vidya Balan has shared screen space in ‘The Dirty Picture’ with Emraan Hashmi, Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor. The film is scheduled to release on 2nd December.
