Addressing the media, Gagan Narang’s father said that this was his long time dream which finally became true; after all winning an Olympic medal isn’t a joke. Ganan won the medal in the Royal Artillery Barracks yesterday on 30 July 2012. His chance to won the gold medal was lost but he took it positively. His family appreciated his positive spirit and was happy that he made the country proud.

There are two more events 50M Rifle Prone and 50M Rifle 3 Positions that have to take place. Ganan has all chances to win the gold medal in either of these.
