NTR Gardens:

NTR gardens is supposedly a tribute paid to the legendary actor and late CM Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) of Andhra Pradesh. It occupies a geographical area of 55 acres in the center of Hyderabad city. It is located beside Hussain Sagar Lake beside some famous places of the city like Birla Mandir and Lumbini Park. It is maintained by Buddha Poornima Project Authority under the authority of HMDA (Hyderabad Municipal Development Authority) wing of Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The pictures que flower gardens, boat rowing, playing areas for children, hangout areas for grown-ups, restaurants and cafes together collectively add to the scenic beauty of NTR Gardens. There is a mini train that runs across the entire geographical area of the gardens boarding the tourists in it. It serves as one of the best hangout places in the city with so much greenery thereby creating calmness in the atmosphere.
